Work it Wednesday

I have been away from my blog while I learn the ways of my new computer and get my taxes done. I wanted to post this card for Work It Wednesday, at Simon Says Stamp's blog. I have also been working on Mother's Day cards to sell at Township Coffee.
I started by stamping some Canary cardstock with an image from Botanical Backgrounds in Black ink. I mounted that on some Black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Cotton Candy and Black ink from retired set, Say It In Style on Colonial White cardstock. I added some Gold Foil Tape to the top and bottom of the sentiment piece.

I cut Pixie; Canary; and retired Garden Green cardstock with my Helleborus dies by Sizzix Susan's Garden. I coloured the flower petals with my Shin Han and Copic Markers, then shaped them with my tool kit. I rolled the stamen, then dipped it with Susan's Garden Yellow pollen. I worked the leaves with the tool kit, then put all of the pieces together and added it to my card.

All supplies are Close To My Heart, unless noted.

Just BE!

I love this card and the message........just BE! That is what I intend to do for the next while and let life stresses melt away...........
This card was simple to pull together. I cut the pocket shape and sentiment with Artiste and Artistry from Slate and Black cardstock, respectively. The patterned paper is from Charlotte and the small flower next to the sentiment was cut from the patterned paper. I added a wee bit of Stardust Glitz to the centre. I used my Black journaling pen to finish things off with some lines.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.
Paper: Charlotte
Cardstock: Slate; White Daisy; Black
Embellishments: Stardust Glitz; Black Journaling Pen
Tools: Artiste & Artistry Cricut cartridges

Zoe banner "Thanks"

I love Zoe and I am always trying to keep up with having a stash of cards on hand. This was a card inspired by Pinterest.
I used a Black mat, then stamped this patterned paper with the squiggly image from Jumping Geometrics, in Slate ink. I cut pieces of the other amazing patterns to make these ribbons. I attached them to the background, then used Liquid Glass to add the Slate Baker's Twine over top of them. I cut the "thanks" from Black cardstock, then added the stamped heart, also.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.
Paper: Zoe
Cardstock: Black and White Daisy
Ink: Black; Slate
